Abigail Dutler

Abigail Dutler is a 25 year old soprano and a current graduate voice student at Mannes School of Music studying with Margaret Lattimore. She received her undergraduate degree at Manhattan School of Music with Maitland Peters. Her recent roles include Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni at Vienna Opera Festival and First Lady in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte with the Undergraduate Opera Theater at Manhattan School of Music. While at the Manhattan School of Music, Abigail was honored to sing excerpts from Die Zauberflöte in a masterclass with Donald Palumbo. Abigail is a frequent recitalist, specializing in under-performed women composers including works by Mary Howe, Rebecca Clark, Pauline Viardot, and others. Abigail has studied with Irina Rindzuner and she has also studied with Shirley Close. At Mannes School of Music, Abigail is a recipient of the Performing Arts Scholarship and during her time at MSM, Abby was a recipient of the President’s Award scholarship, the school’s most prestigious merit-based scholarship.
