Emerging Indian-American mezzo-soprano Natasha Naik is a multifaceted and dynamic performer noted for the vocal warmth heard throughout her range. A passionate and committed storyteller, notable roles include Inez/featured dancer in The Gondoliers (Cimarron Opera) Mad Margaret in Ruddigore (Cimarron Opera Company), Fenena in Nabucco (Opera Ithaca), Scribe/Maria Maddelena in Galileo Galilei (Cincinnati Conservatory MainStage), Dorabella in Così fan tutte (University of Oklahoma), Mercédès in Carmen (Cincinnati Conservatory French Opera Gala), Mezzo-soprano/Detective 3 in Murder at the Opera (Cimarron Opera Company) and Queen of the Fairies in Iolanthe (Cimarron Opera Company). Outside of opera Natasha has performed in Educational Outreach Tours, Musical Theatre and Shakespeare. Naik holds a Master of Music from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Music (summa cum laude) from the University of Oklahoma. When not performing, Natasha enjoys working behind the scenes as an adminastrator, stage director, educational program creator, stage manager, and props designer. She is currently the Programs Manager at Cincinnati Song Initiative. From 2021-2025 Natasha was the Artistic Director/Interim Executive Director for Cimarron Opera, the company where she first developed her love of opera.
