Soprano Blythe Condon began her training at Liberty University, where she was granted a Graduate Assistantship position in her master's degree. During this time, she performed Contessa (Le Nozze di Figaro), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), and is preparing Pamina (Die Zauberflöte). She was named an Honors Recital Winner and Concerto/Aria Competition Finalist, and before her university training, sang with the Honors Performance Series Women’s Choir at Carnegie Hall (2015, 2017).
Recent highlights include her role debut as Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte) with Vienna Opera Academy, with performances at Vienna’s Musikverein and Grand Hotel Wien. She was selected as an AAMS Emerging Young Artist at The Kennedy Center with Washington National Opera and was a featured soloist in the performance at Millennium Stage.
Blythe has participated as a young artist with Opera Lucca and Trentino Music Festival in Italy, performing Susanna (scenes of Le Nozze di Figaro), Erste Dame (Die Zauberflöte), and Una Conversa (Suor Angelica), working with conductors from the Dutch National Opera, The Metropolitan Opera, and Boston Conservatory.
Currently a Resident Young Artist with Opera Roanoke, Blythe has performed Laetitia (The Old Maid and the Thief), Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), Lauretta (cover, Gianni Schicchi), and is preparing Sandman (Hansel und Gretel) for their spring production.
