Jared Decker is a drummer, composer, arranger, and educator based in New York. He has performed in a wide variety of musical settings around the country and internationally, building a reputation as a dependable and versatile musician. Jared thrives in many styles, with experience performing and recording jazz with the likes of Victor Goines and Warren Wolf, to accompanying singer-songwriters like Goldwoman and Samantha Joy Pearlman, and performing in the pit orchestras for Sweet Charity, Footloose, and Baby in New York and Chicago. He also serves as bandleader for his own projects, the Jared Decker Big Band and Congregation Jazz Orchestra.
