American baritone Jason Edelstein is a recent graduate of Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a Masters in Opera Performance. Jason spent his summer as a Renée Fleming Artist Fellow at the Aspen Music Festival and School performing the role of Schaunard in Puccini's La bohéme and covering the role of Abinaswar in a world premier of Christopher Theofanidis's Siddhartha, She. In the fall of Jason will join Pensacola Opera as a Jan Miller Studio Artist singing Charlie in Jake Heggie's Three Decembers.

Jason Edelstein

American baritone Jason Edelstein is a recent graduate of Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a Masters in Opera Performance. Jason spent his summer as a Renée Fleming Artist Fellow at the Aspen Music Festival and School performing the role of Schaunard in Puccini's La bohéme and covering the role of Abinaswar in a world premiere of Christopher Theofanidis's Siddhartha, She. In the fall of Jason will join Pensacola Opera as a Jan Miller Studio Artist singing Charlie in Jake Heggie's Three Decembers. He will also sing the Barone in Verdi's La Traviata and cover Germont, as well as cover Curly McLain in Oklahoma!.

Jason's recent credits inlcude: with Boston Conservatory Opera - Guglielmo in Mozart's Così fan tutte, John Buchannan Jr. in Lee Hoiby's Summer and Smoke, Demetrius in Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Baritone in Matthew Peterson's Voir Dire, and Prince Hérisson in Chabrier's L'étoile; with Janiec Opera Company at Brevard Music Center - Steward in Jonathan Dove's Flight, Schaunard cover in Puccini's La bohème.
