Biography

John Tuvera-Lim

Raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Boston-based baritone John Tuvera-Lim earned his Master of Music from Shenandoah Conservatory and his Bachelor of Music from University of Nebraska at Omaha. Most recently, Mr. Tuvera-Lim sang the titular role in Tom Cipullo’s Mayo Buckner: A Life Interrupted at Seagle Festival. Other notable roles include Ford (Falstaff) and Polyphemus (Acis and Galatea) with Shenandoah Conservatory Opera and Papageno (Die Zauberflöte) with Lyric Opera Studio Weimar. Currently, John studies with baritone Byron Jones. 

This fall, Mr. Tuvera-Lim will pursue a Graduate Performance Diploma in Opera Performance at Boston Conservatory where he will study with Rebecca Folsom.
