Biography

Kaitlyn Flebbe

   Kaitlyn Flebbe (Soprano)  is a Junior Voice Performance major at Shenandoah University. She is currently studying in the studio of Dr. Fotina Naumenko. In 2024, she performed in the chorus of Acis and Galatea, and served as assistant opera director for Shenandoah's full stage opera production of Moscow Cheryomushki. Last spring, Kaitlyn portrayed both Susanna and Barbarina in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro as part of the opera scenes program. She has also been involved in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream And the contemporary work Caged Birds, featuring compositions by Missy Mazzoli and Santa Ratniece. This semester, Kaitlyn has performed with the Shenandoah Conservatory Choir in The Seagull and From Darkness to Light. She is currently preparing for her role in the upcoming spring production of Verdi’s Falstaff as part of the chorus. This summer, Kaitlyn will perform the role of Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro at Lyric Opera Studio Weimar in Germany. Outside of her musical pursuits, Kaitlyn loves to take Ballet or cozy up with a good book.
