Kiing Curry (they/them) is an autistic non binary multi-disciplinary artist and icon from Denver, Colorado. Currently residing in Los Angeles. Their work focuses on redefining Black hair & aesthetics and challenges society to see the diverse humxnity of the Black diaspora. In 2020 they founded Black Beauty School, a 1-2 day course that helps attendees understand how race and privilege contributes to Black Hair discrimination and how we systematically change this mindset over time in the industry. It's co-taught with thei partner Siir Cole. They received their Bachelors of Science from Middle Tennessee State University in Theatre in 2006. Following that they attended the University of California, Irvine and received their Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre in 2010. They are currently managed by APL Models Amesterdam.
