Lindsay Cherin is a recent graduate with a Master of Music in Opera Performance at Rutgers University, having earned her Bachelor of Music from Ithaca College.Previous performances include Alice 2 in Alice Tierney, Monica (The Medium), Micaëla (Carmen), and Third Lady (The Magic Flute). She has performed with the Martina Arroyo Foundation and was a finalist in the National Hal Leonard Competition, third place in the Rising Stars Classical Voice Competition, and winner of the SMC Young Artists Scholarship.

Biography

Lindsay Cherin

Lindsay Cherin is a recent graduate with her Master of Music in Opera Performance from Rutgers University, having previosuly earned her Bachelor of Music from Ithaca College. This December, she will appear as Alice 2 in Alice Tierney. Her recent operatic roles include Monica in The Medium, Micaëla in Carmen, Antonia in Belisario, and both Pamina and the Third Lady in The Magic Flute. Additional performance credits include Cendrillon (Ithaca College), Die Fledermaus (Martina Arroyo Foundation), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Rutgers University).

Ms. Cherin has been recognized in several vocal competitions, including as a finalist in the National Hal Leonard Competition, third place in the Rising Stars Classical Voice Competition, and as a recipient of the SMC Young Artists Scholarship.
