Dr. Smithwick was most recently seen in the fall of 2021 as Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus with the Texas Tech Opera Theater. She has also performed with the Amarillo Opera, Taos Opera Institute, Red River Lyric Opera, Seagle Music Colony, and Orvieto Musica in Italy.
Dr. Smithwick holds degrees in voice performance from Florida State University (B.M.), University of Alabama (M.M.), and Texas Tech University (D.M.A.).
