Valeria Estrada is a Soprano from Lima, Peru residing in San Francisco, CA. She is currently studying with César Ulloa, earning her Professional Studies Certificate at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she also finished her Master’s degree. Valeria debuted the Role of Silvia in Mascagni's Zanetto with the conservatory, as well as the role of Cathleen in Vaughan - Williams' "Riders to the sea”, and has participated in various scene concerts singing leading roles from operas by Mozart, Berlioz, Mascagni, etc. She will be the cover for Cio-Cio San in Madama Butterfly and Nedda in Pagliacci with Opera San Jose in their 2025-2026 season.
Awards include being selected as a semifinalist for both the James Toland competition Tier II and the Palm Springs Opera Guild competition and winning Most Promising Female Artist from TBNATS on top of first place (2020 – 2021). She has also won the Van Sickle Competition and the Jillian Prescott music awards scholarship competition both with the South West Florida Symphony and was a Finalist in the Radio Filarmonia competition.
