Ellie Kennedy is a violinist pursuing a Bachelor of Music at the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she studies with Ilya Kaler and Olga Dubossarskaya Kaler. She is currently a member of the Canton Symphony Orchestra and has participated in the Aspen Music Festival and School as a member of the Aspen Chamber Symphony. An experienced orchestral leader, Ellie has served as concertmaster of the Boston University Tanglewood Institute Young Artists Orchestra, the Youth Orchestras of San Antonio, and the Texas All-State Symphony. Her distinctions include the Dorothy Richard Starling Foundation Fellowship at the Aspen Music Festival and School and first prize in the Inspired by KPAC Radio Competition. She has performed in masterclasses for Stefan Jackiw, Kim Chee-Yun, Siwoo Kim, and Moni Simeonov.
