Based in San Francisco, Alexander is a 22 year old baritenor. Having recently graduated from Harvard with a degree in Computer Science with Music, where he studied singing under Brad Gleim and Frank Kelley, Alexander has sung both tenor and baritone repertoire in college and semi-professional opera houses. Roles include Blazes Boylan/Mentes in NIGHTTOWN, Anthony in Sweeney Todd, and Guglielmo in Cosi Fan Tutte with Lowell House Opera, Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro, Speaker of the Temple in Die Zauberflöte and Pandolfe in Cendrillon with Harvard College Opera, and Aeneas in Dido and Aeneas with the Harvard Choral Fellows and Harvard Baroque Orchestra.
He made his directorial debut in Harvard College Opera's 2022 production of Le nozze di Figaro, while also playing Figaro.
