Carlo Santos (he/him) is a Filipino-Canadian tenor based in Vancouver, British Columbia, on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples. Carlo is in his fourth year of a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance at the University of British Columbia.

Carlo is an avid performer of art song, choral music, opera, and musical theatre. Recent performances include Henry Davis and Charlie Hildebrand in UBC Opera’s production of Street Scene, as well as Oronte in Chicago Summer Opera’s production of Alcina. As a recitalist, he also explores his Filipino heritage through kundiman art song repertoire. Beyond solo singing, Carlo is a proud member of the UBC University Singers and Vancouver Youth Choir, with whom he has toured with nationally in Canada and overseas.

During his time at UBC, Carlo has been the recipient of the Sonya and Charlotte Wall Award in Opera and the Elizabeth Lamberton Award in Voice.
