Biography

Eve UHLMANN

Eve UHLMANN studied music at the Regional Music Conservatory in Aix-en-Provence. She began her musical journey at the age of 6 with the flute, then at 8 she was accepted into Delphine MARIOTTI's piano class, and at 16 into Gilles NIN's class. In the meantime, she joined the choir of Saint Sauveur Cathedral at the age of 13, which led her, on the advice of her music teachers at the conservatory, to join the opera singing classes of Tibère RAFFALI and Patricia SCHNELL, while continuing to perfect her piano studies. She continued her singing studies with Hubert HUMEAU at the Regional Music Conservatory in Chalon sur Saone, where she obtained her Musical Study Degree in singing in 2020 and completed her preparatory classes for higher education in music the same year. During this period, she staged several recitals and projects, including the role of Gigolette in Tromb-al-ca-zar and a collaboration with the Chalon sur Saone harmony to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 1918 victory. That same year, she also gave a four-hand piano recital in Burgundy to benefit associations that help children with disabilities. In 2020, she was admitted to the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne in the class of Léontina VADUVA, where she will obtain a Master's degree in Lyric Art in June 2025. During her studies in Lausanne, she participated in several singing masterclasses in an international environment while specializing in the lyric soprano repertoire. In 2024, she sang for the “Master sur les Ondes” live on RTS radio. She is a soloist for the Embroysie choir, where she performs oratorios, and then with the Fribourg Symphony Choir in February 2025. In March 2025, she sang Ernest Chausson's “Poème de l'amour et de la mer” with the Chamber Symphony in Lyon and Beaune. She won the jury president's prize in April 2025 at the Béziers Bel Canto International Singing Competition. She will perform with the Lausanne Opera Choir in September 2025 and then take part in concerts organized by L'atelier Lyrique de Bourgogne as a soloist, singing Maria Callas' repertoire in public in early 2026.
