Mezzo-soprano Katie Ahmann attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where she received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Vocal Performance in 2019 and 2021. Katie made her radio debut on KDFC, performing Miss Pinkerton in Menotti's Old Maid and the Thief and her European debut at the Vienna Summer Music Festival where she portrayed the title role in the world premiere of Michael Polo's opera Pluto. Other career highlights include playing the roles of Despina in the Bloomington Summer Opera Workshop production of Così fan tutte and Turnspit in the Toronto Summer Opera Workshop production of Dvorak’s Rusalka. Also a dancer and musical theater singer, Katie has played Luisa in The Fantasticks and Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She now lives in Los Angeles where she is working as an actress both on stage and in front of the camera.
