American tenor, Seth Younglove is a born-and-raised native to South Carolina. He earned his BA in Music (vocal performance) and Theatre (performance) at the College of Charleston. Following his undergrad, he stayed with the College of Charleston School of Music as an Artist in Residence to continue his career and education. Along with his education, Seth was recently selected as an Emerging Artist for the Seagle Festival 2025 season where he performed Billy Crocker (ANYTHING GOES), Don José (cover) (CARMEN), and Beckmann/Henry (MAYO BUCKNER). He will be staying with the Seagle Festival through the fall to be a part of their touring outreach program including the role of Monkey in Kamala Sankaram's children's opera (MONKEY AND FRANCINE IN THE CITY OF TIGERS) and as a tenor soloist in MUSIC OF THE NIGHT, an Andrew Lloyd Webber review.
Some of Seth’s recent performances include: Normanno (LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR), Gulfshore Opera; Rodolfo (LA BOHÈME) Charleston Opera Theater (cover), Greve Opera Academy; Tamino (DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE) Hoffmann (LES CONTES D’HOFFMANN) and Eisenstein (DIE FLEDERMAUS), College of Charleston Opera. This fall and winter, Seth will be touring South Carolina and Florida performing El Remendado (CARMEN) with Charleston Opera Theater, Gulfshore Opera, and Teatro Lirico d'Europa.
