Holden Salica is a 17-year-old performer currently based in Tucson, AZ. He has been performing since his sophomore year, understudying in the play Death by Design. He has been performing ever since with some notable roles including Orpheus in Hadestown: Teen Edition, Alfred in Alice by Heart, Ricky Potts in Ride the Cyclone and the Baker in Into the Woods! Holden is currently a student at the Inner Voice Studio under Kaitlin Bernshaw, where he continues to explore his vocal craft and grow his knowledge of the voice.
Holden is also a student of Salpointe Catholic High School, and is an active participant in his home troupe, Troupe 5370! He studies performing under Ericka Quintero's masterful instruction, and hopes to continue to find instructors and directors that push him to new heights. He has taken both Technical and Acting classes under Mrs. Quintero and hopes to build onto these skills that he has learned.
Some of Holden's notable achievements include his placement as a finalist in the 2024 Monte Awards at Arts Express and subsequently winning the Up-and-Coming Actor Award as well! Some others include winning various Superior rankings on different pieces nationally and locally in different competitions
In his spare time, Holden is an active student at Salpointe Catholic. He is a member of Salpointe's National Honor Society, and enjoys volunteering for many different charities all over Tuscon. He also enjoys playing video games and D&D with his friends, and also hanging out with them whenever he gets the chance. Whenever in a school show, every Saturday he attends set construction for said show to make sure it all comes out well.
