Joseph Harris, a tenor from Minnesota, is currently studying vocal performance at the University of Minnesota School of Music. While a student, he has performed in the chorus of the University Opera Theatre’s productions of Le Nozze Di Figaro and Dream of the Red Chamber, and will be singing the role of Sam Kaplan in the Fall 2025 production of Street Scene. Joseph recently completed a Young Artist’s Program at Opera in the Ozarks as a Studio Artist. He performed as Eddie Pensier in the outreach opera The Bremen Town Musicians, as well as Bogdanovich in The Merry Widow, and as a member of the chorus in Bizet’s Carmen. He has an extensive resume of musical theatre productions and stage plays in Minnesota and Oregon. Jospeh is excited to complete his undergraduate degree and looks forward to the future.
